How We Raise Funds

The two main fundraising

streams for

the Elysium Organization

As a federally recognized 501(c)3 non-profit entity, the Elysium Organization is actively engaged in the process of generating revenues for it’s not-for-profit activities. We believe we exist to serve individuals and the best way to serve individuals is to engage other individuals in the process.

OFFLINE PRACTICES

Offline practices include events, seminars, grant proposals, legacy endowments, and Strategic Partnerships.

ONLINE PRACTICES

You’re browsing part of our online practice! Our online presence helps share our mission, build awareness, and educate people to the importact that martial arts can  have on the effects of Poverty.

Our Offline Practices

When we say that our Offline Practices include events, seminars, grant proposals, legacy endowments, and Strategic Partnerships, what does that all mean? Below is a brief description of those practices

Events: Seminars

We are blessed to have so many great martial artists be part of our organization. These martial artists donate their time to teach seminars.; the proceeds of which help fund our Organization.

Events: Cross-Training

There is a seemingly infinite number of styles and martial arts gyms. Often politics keeps them seperate, but thanks to the goodwill of the Elysium Organization dozens of gyms and styles can cross train together.

Grant Proposals

Grants are financial aid that don’t require repayment. Grants usually come from our state, the federal government and other Non Profit Organizations. Although grant proposals are far from a slam dunk, they do have a role to play in supporting most charities.

Legacy Endowments

Legacy endowments provide long-term financial health to our institution. Endowments allow a donor to create a permanent legacy at The Elysium Organization, providing funding for scholarships, equipment, and competition programs in perpetuity.

Strategic Partnerships

Stratgic partnerships, like the one we have with the Knoxville Martial Arts Academy and with other Non Profit Organizations (such as Big Brothers, Big Sisters). Are the hallmark of what the Elysium Organization is designed to do – bring people together.

Our Online Practices

Our website is mean to educate people about vision while reducing our print and mail costs, and enabling us to directly solicate donations. Our social media presence enables us to engage in a dialogue with our community online. Finally we engage in periodic crowd-funding drives whenever special needs arise – such as when we need to meet the various city codes we are required to meet in our new head quarters in Knox.

Online Presence

Thanks to our website we’ve engaged at least one person – YOU! We want more people to understand what the Elysium Organization is trying to do to make our world a better place – one person at a time.
